Spelling Sentences: Compound sentences.

  2. I will be teaching compound sentences this coming week. Use your appositives in your writings on Tuesday/Thursday. Compound sentences are two sentences joined by a conjunction. (Don't you just love all of this technical stuff about English..:)

    Conjunctions: fanboys

    ,for
    ,and
    ,nor
    ,but
    ,or
    ,yet
    ,so

    Example: Hockey players are careful, but they still get hurt often.
